The main objective of this competition, is to show the seeds of entrepreneurship in young
undergraduates to motivate them to become world leaders in the field of the information
technology industry. This is not only to encourage innovative solutions to real-world problems
but also to encourage the transfer of technology to other domains aimed at facilitating a
broader vision of product development and commercialization.
Our idea EcoCredit:
Plastic, and in particular single-use plastic shopping bags, are a major environmental concern.
Our goal was to introduce a creative method to reduce the use of polythene bags among people by
introducing an attractive rewarding system.We proposed an API platform to reward customers with
‘mobile data' when they bring their own reusable bags when shopping.
