Hello! I'm Dilshani Karunarathna, a Computer Engineer with a passion for designing and building software that solves complex problems. I enjoy transforming ideas into reliable, scalable, and well-engineered solutions by combining strong software engineering principles with modern technologies.
My journey has spanned both industry and academia, providing me with diverse experience in enterprise software development, cloud computing, DevOps, artificial intelligence, and research. Working across the full software development lifecycle has allowed me to contribute to cloud-native applications, modern web platforms, release engineering, developer productivity solutions, and AI-powered software while continuously expanding my technical and analytical expertise.
I believe great software is built on thoughtful design, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Whether developing backend services, building intuitive user interfaces, automating deployment pipelines, or designing cloud-native systems, I enjoy creating software that is scalable, maintainable, secure, and efficient.
Beyond software engineering, I have a strong interest in research and emerging technologies.
